BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY

This is one road that should be on everyones must see list. Its a windy, curvy auto trail leading from Cherokee NC all the way to Northern Virginia. Go as far as you want, then turn around and come back and views from the other direction makes it like a whole differnt drive.

Highlights of the trip from Maggie Valley north include:

Waterrok Knob: A great short hike from a large parking area. The mile + hike is moderate and the views west are incredible.

Highest point on the Parkway: Just over 6050 feet in elevation, its all downhill from here. Great spot for taking pictures.

Devil's Courthouse: This hugh granite rock outcropping is a great short hike. Great pictures from the parking area of the rock nad them climb to the top for great views south.

Graveyard Fields: A longer hike with places to dip into the cool water in the summer, waterfalls and more.

Mt. Pisgah: A favorite spot to take a break from the crazy day, The Inn offers fine dining with incredible views from its mountain top location.
